This is a novel truss joint bracket designed to create a permanent joint between two 2x6 or 2x8 horizontal beam members at the center of a truss.

This bracket allows addition of two 45 degree angled truss braces to run upward and attach to the truss rafters. it creates a super-strong joint between the two 2x6 or 2x8 horizontal beams and eliminates all sagging at the truss center joint. Use this bracket to create a super strong joint between two 2X lumber pieces. Repair weak trusses which have plywood or osb pieces supporting the joints.

Initially designed for a truss in partial hexagon and partial octagon gazebos, this bracket can be use for trusses on any rectangle or square gable roofed structure.

This bracket has an upward facing open U-channel to receive two ends of the horizontal beams.
This bracket includes a joint inspection window which allows precise alignment of the two beam members at the center of this bracket.

Each horizontal beam is secured to the bracket's U-channel using six (6) 1/4" x 1-1/4" lag screws.
The angled 45 degree brace members are secured to this bracket using three (3) 1/4" x 1-1/4" lag screws, each.
Included are eighteen (18) 1/4" x 1-1/4"  lag screws to complete the job.
This bracket is constructed from 1/8" thick high strength steel.
This bracket is laser cut and formed and coated with durable black powder paint.
This bracket may be spray painted over with any desired exterior-grade paint color.
